Tools for Empowerment
Gabriel Associates is a small organization that does big work. We know nonprofit organizations and initiatives. In fact, it is the only work we do, and we’re committed to doing it as well as it can be done. We guarantee satisfaction. We truly care about the people and organizations we work with and we invest all that we have into designing and implementing customized approaches that support success. And we have a lot to share. As a result, over the past 25 years, we have built strong relationships that return to us year after year. We bring a partnership approach and leading edge practices that are built on a foundation of experience and demonstrated results. Our customer relationships, products, and approaches live and breathe life into the organizations we work with long after our project is done. The values, expertise, and mission of each organization is core to our project design and effective implementation of any change is dependent on key stakeholders owning and supporting it. Our commitment is to bring quality, do-able, and inclusive change that is infused with knowledge and compassion, and is dedicated to results.
Gabriel Associates holds certifications in a wide variety of tools that support leadership development, team effectiveness, and valuing diversity in the work place.

Meyers Briggs Typology Indicator (MBTI)
Perhaps one of the most commonly used personality assessments, The Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a self-report questionnaire designed to indicate various preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. The MBTI was constructed by Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers. It is based on the typological theory proposed by Carl Jung. The MBTI was constructed for normal populations and emphasizes the value of naturally occurring differences. "The underlying assumption of the MBTI is that we all have specific preferences in the way we construe our experiences, and these preferences underlie our interests, needs, values, and motivation."
True Colors, International
True Colors® is a model for understanding yourself and others based on your personality temperament. The colors of Orange, Gold, Green and Blue are used to differentiate the four central personality styles of True Colors®. Each of us has a combination of these True Colors that make up our personality spectrum, usually with one of the styles being the most dominant. Identifying your personality and the personalities of others using True Colors provides you with insights into different motivations, actions and communication approaches. True Colors works because it is based on true principles and easy to remember and use – in all kinds of circumstances – from personal relationships to professional success.
Conflict Dispute Resolution (CDR)
An authentic commitment to giving voice to diversity in your nonprofit workplace includes gaining knowledge about cross-cultural communication and managing conflict productively. In addition to culturally inclusive practices that are embedded in all Gabriel Associates consulting and training, Tezikiah is a CDR Certified Mediator. CDR asks the question, “Could your voice be more powerful and your process more productive?” We believe that the key to vibrant, relevant, and sustainable nonprofit organizations is the ability to truly embrace and empower people from diverse cultures, perspectives, styles, and ideas! That is the dynamic nonprofit workplace that will succeed and stand the test of time! Creating and sustaining diverse, innovative, and effective organizations is what Gabriel Associates is all about, in all of our service options.
