Gabriel Associates is a small organization that does big work. We know nonprofit organizations and initiatives. In fact, it is the only work we do, and we’re committed to doing it as well as it can be done. We guarantee satisfaction. We truly care about the people and organizations we work with and we invest all that we have into designing and implementing customized approaches that support success. And we have a lot to share. As a result, over the past 25 years, we have built strong relationships that return to us year after year. We bring a partnership approach and leading edge practices that are built on a foundation of experience and demonstrated results. Our customer relationships, products, and approaches live and breathe life into the organizations we work with long after our project is done. The values, expertise, and mission of each organization is core to our project design and effective implementation of any change is dependent on key stakeholders owning and supporting it. Our commitment is to bring quality, do-able, and inclusive change that is infused with knowledge and compassion, and is dedicated to results.
Organization development (OD) for nonprofit organizations today includes top-down and bottom-up best practices that are proven techniques to enhance organizational performance and assure the organization’s success, relevance, and sustainability. Good organization development typically begins with an organizational assessment and includes a plan or plans to successfully carry out the change process. Gabriel Associates often conduct various types of organization, program, or culture/climate assessments as an end product. Other times, organizational assessments are needed and conducted at no cost, as the assessment is “our homework” to assure the best possible outcomes for our organization development work together. The most common components of an organization assessment include the organization’s history, mission, values, culture, climate, timing, staff, programs, systems, policies, current obligations, and structure – everything that gives your organization meaning and relevance, and makes your organization unique, effective, and attractive. A good assessment also surfaces opportunities to build upon and challenges to address in the organization development/change process. In addition, because we care about future viability and sustainability, our assessments explore your organization within the context of the external environment in which it exists – those issues and trends that will impact your work in the future. If you’re thinking about a change that you feel is needed to enhance organizational performance and/or increase your capacity to be relevant, viable, and successful in your future, feel free to call us. There is no obligation to talk to us and we can give you some ideas, suggestions, as well as discuss evidence-based practices that can help you think through and successfully manage your desired change.
We look forward to hearing from you!
